La Paz, 9 de agosto (RC). – La presidenta del Tribunal Supremo Electoral (TSE), María Eugenia Choque, anunció este viernes que su institución ha decidido aprobar la sustitución de candidatos en los binomios que se postularán a la presidencia y vicepresidencia.
“En este caso se ha tomado la decisión de aprobar la sustitución en una Sala Extraordinaria desarrollada hoy. Para tomar ésta decisión hemos tomado en cuenta las leyes nacionales, normativa nacional, tratados internacionales, jurisprudencia, elementos doctrinarios y la Convención Interamericana de Derechos Humanos”, indicó Choque.
Del mismo modo, la presidenta del TSE destacó que según al calendario electoral, los partidos que deseen sustituir a sus candidatos tendrán como plazo hasta el 5 de septiembre y resaltó que el próximo 11 de agosto se publicará la lista de candidatos habilitados.
