La Paz, 5 de junio (RCM).- El viceministro de Defensa del Usuario y del Consumidor, Jorge Silva, reactivó Comité de Seguridad Alimentaria tras las denuncias de contrabando de tomate, cebolla y otros productos hacia Argentina y otros países limítrofes, por lo que el Gobierno nacional reactivó el Comité de Seguridad Alimentaria.
“Los productos bolivianos son mucho más bajos en lo que se refiere a los precios, razón por la cual están saliendo a países vecinos. Por ejemplo, productores del Chaco que producen cebolla y tomate están privilegiando llevar sus productos a Argentina, porque allá les están pagando hasta tres veces más de lo que pagamos en el mercado interno”, explicó Silva a Fides.
Silva aseguró las próximas semanas por la cosecha los productos en demanda bajarán. “Ese es el comportamiento de las frutas y las verduras que tienen de acuerdo a las cosechas altas o bajas”, añadió.
Así también ante las denuncias de desvío de productos, Silva anunció la reactivación del Comité de Seguridad Alimentaria con la participación de diferentes instituciones del aparato estatal del nivel central.
