La Paz, 4 de junio (RCM).-Tras las bajas temperaturas registradas en el Departamento de Potosí, el Servicio Departamental de Salud (Sedes) ratificó su pedido de adelantar las vacaciones a las autoridades educativas, para evitar que los casos de infecciones respiratorias agudas incrementen.
El director del Sedes – Potosí, Eddy Salguero, recordó en primera instancia se recomendó a las autoridades educativas se pueda poner en marcha el horario de invierno en el ingreso y salida de clases de los estudiantes, que ya se aplica, pero debido a que las temperaturas seguirán bajando mantiene su pedido de adelantar las vacaciones de invierno en ese departamento.
“Recomendando que en primera instancia se pueda dar la tolerancia, han visto el ingreso y la salida, es más también hemos pedido que ahora con todo estos datos y el reporte del clima tienen que tomar una determinación inmediata, caso contrario nuevamente van a subir los casos de infecciones respiratorias agudas y vamos a volver a ingresar nuevamente en el canal endémico en una epidemia lo cual amerita otras situaciones mayores. La medida es sugerir que se adelante las vacaciones para cuidar especialmente a los niños que son las personas más vulnerables para este tema del frío”, sostuvo Salguero.
El Servicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología (SENAMHI) reportó que a partir de este mes y julio se registrarán descensos bruscos de temperaturas llegando a -9 grados centígrados en Potosí y a -18 grados en las zonas aledañas.
