La Paz, 13 de mayo (RCM).- Desde el 2020, hasta la actualidad, la Fuerza Especial de Lucha Contra el Narcotráfico (FELCN), destruyó más de 3.000 fábricas de producción de pasta base de cocaína, informó Eduardo del Castillo, ministro de Gobierno.
“Demostramos con datos y no con relatos que somos la mejor gestión en materia de lucha contra el narcotráfico (…) Desde que nos hicimos cargo del Ministerio de Gobierno, en noviembre (desde) la gestión 202 hasta la actualidad, ya hemos destruido más de 3.000 fábricas de pasta base de cocaína” afirmó Del Castillo en una entrevista con Bolivia Tv.
La autoridad señaló que en ninguna gestión anterior se tuvo una destrucción similar, en este caso la mayoría de las fábricas destruidas estaban emplazadas en el Trópico de Cochabamba.
Del Castillo aseguró que este es un número igual que no ha existido en el país “¿dónde están ubicadas estas fábricas de pasta base de cocaína?” cuestionó la autoridad que la “mayoría” del pueblo boliviano lo sabía.
A su vez, aseguró que durante su gestión de han incautado 23 toneladas de droga, entre pasta base y clorhidrato de cocaína en el 2024, que demuestra su lucha contra el narcotráfico.
“Somos la mejor gestión en la historia en nuestro país en materia de lucha contra el narcotráfico, en la actualidad, solo en la gestión 2024, ya hemos superado más de 23 toneladas de incautación y destrucción de cocaína”, remarcó.
