La Paz, 10 de noviembre (RCM).- El ministro de Educación, Édgar Pary, ha presentado una denuncia penal contra la dirigente de padres de familia, Ana Laura Montaño, por presuntos delitos contra el honor, en referencia a la denuncia en su contra por supuestamente favorecer a sus hijos con contratos para una empresa familiar.
Dichas acciones fueron tomadas luego de que la dirigente denunció públicamente que una apoderada del Ministro buscaba inversionistas para la empresa CEMFI, de propiedad de Pary y sus hijos, ofreciendo contrataciones estatales sobre todo en el Ministerio de Educación. No obstante, Pary aclaró que no hubo actos de corrupción, tras afirmar que la mencionada empresa está inactiva.
La denuncia de Pary contra la dirigente es por los delitos de calumnia, propagación de ofensas e injurias, informó el abogado Raúl Salas, que patrocina al Ministro. El abogado anunció que la denunciante responderá por sus afirmaciones y «va a ser perseguida hasta el final. No se puede jugar con el nombre de una persona, más allá de que sea un ministro, no se puede lastimar, mellar la dignidad de una persona por un hecho de venganza».
