La Paz, 10 de noviembre (RCM).- Kevin Ortega, árbitro peruano que anuló un gol a Bolívar en la Copa Libertadores, ahora estará dirigiendo el partido Bolivia vs Uruguay en Montevideo el próximo 21 de noviembre.
De la misma forma, el mencionado árbitro será asistido desde los laterales de sus coterráneos: Michael Orue y Jesús Sánchez. El cuarto árbitro será Michael Espinoza. Diego Haro (Perú) estará en el VAR junto a Jonny Bossio (Perú).
Asimismo, Ortega fue implicado en una polémica luego que en agosto de este año haya decidido anular un gol a Bolívar en los cuartos de final de la Libertadores ante Atlético Paranaense en Brasil. No obstante, la Conmebol posteriormente admitió que el gol era válido, por lo que el equipo celeste exigió sanciones contra el árbitro, pero no se conoció si se tomaron acciones tras el suceso.
