La Paz, 9 de mayo (RC). –El presidente Evo Morales anunció esta mañana que el secretario general de la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA), Luis Almagro, llegará a Bolivia el próximo 17 de mayo, donde planea reunirse con la Cancillería boliviana y posteriormente se dirigirá al Chapare, en Cochabamba, para observar el modelo boliviano de lucha contra el narcotráfico.
Según el primer mandatario boliviano, la zona del trópico de Cochabamba era una región “satanizada” y resaltó que las actuales políticas contra el narcotráfico lograron cambiar la situación del lugar.
“El hermano Luis Almagro ha reconocido las políticas de igualdad, de reducción de la pobreza, y el mismo cambio que estamos implementando en Bolivia. Yo quiero decir, va a ser una interesante visita de Luis Almagro, pese a las diferencias ideológicas que tenemos”, indicó Morales.
