Los goles llegaron desde el minuto 24 del primer tiempo, producto de un penal, tras una mano en el área de Maxi Caire, que Jair Reinoso definió para el 1-0 parcial. Ya en el complemento, Enrique Triverio amplió la diferencia de cabeza, tras un tiro de esquina a los 60 minutos.
El cuadro albiverde le dió suspenso al encuentro a los 80 minutos, cuando Franz Gonzales cazó un rebote en el área para acortar distancias, aunque el resultado no se movió más.
El Tigre deberá defender la punta del torneo este domingo, cuando visite a Wilstermann en Cochabamba.
