La Paz, 13 de agosto (RC).- La presidenta interina, Jeanine Áñez, envió una carta a la presidenta de la Cámara de Senadores, Eva Copa, para solicitarle que presente el informe médico en el que se está justificando para fijar la fecha de las elecciones generales para el próximo 6 de septiembre.
“Le pido que dejemos de lado los colores políticos y que trabajemos coordinando esfuerzos y escuchando a los médicos y a los científicos. Y por eso, le pido que me haga llegar usted el estudio médico y científico (el estudio epidemiológico) en el cual basa su decisión y la del MAS, para impulsar elecciones el 6 de septiembre”, indica la carta de Añez.
Del mismo modo, la presidenta Añez espera que todas las personas que aprobaron la mencionada medida puedan asumir públicamente las posibles consecuencias que sufra la población en el caso de que se registre un contagio masivo de coronavirus durante el día de las elecciones.
