La Paz, 25 de mayo (RC).- La representante de la campaña Ayuda Bolivia, Mariana Fernández, este lunes donó 1.300 máscaras de bioseguridad al comando departamental de la Policía de La Paz para ayudar a la protección de los funcionarios policiales que están continuamente haciendo controles para que la población respete la cuarentena.
“Estamos comercializando las máscaras a costo y un porcentaje de las máscaras que las empresas y personas compran, 4 bolivianos se van a donación y gracias a la credibilidad de todas las personas que han confiado en nosotros podemos hacer entrega de esta importante donación para que la Policía esté cuidada y al mismo tiempo los cuide”, indicó Fernández.
Así mismo, el comandante departamental de la Policía de La Paz, coronel Wilson Ortiz, agradeció la donación y aseguró que las máscaras serán entregadas a las subunidades de la ciudad, de las áreas rurales y a sus camaradas en Beni. Además, la autoridad policial destacó que dichos implementos serán de gran ayuda para reducir la cifra de policías contagiados por COVID-19, ya que se registró 39 funcionarios policiales infectados por el virus.
