La Paz, 20 de diciembre (RC). – La presidente de la Cámara de Senadores, Eva Copa, informó que se ha remitido ante el Tribunal Constitucional Plurinacional (TCP) el proyecto de ley excepcional de Prórroga de Mandato Constitucional de Autoridades Electas que consultará si los asambleístas nacionales y autoridades de Gobierno continuarán en su cargo, ya que según las normas sus mandatos concluyen el 22 de enero de 2020.
“El país no puede quedarse en incertidumbre ni con vacío de poder después del 22 de enero, en marco a eso lo que hemos hecho es desde esa comisión poder proyectar esta ley que vaya pues ya teniendo todos los antecedentes jurídicos el cual vaya a consulta al Tribunal Constitucional y ellos nos puedan responder entre la primera semana de enero”, indicó Copa.
Del mismo modo, la presidenta del Senado explicó que los plazos deberán estar basados en el calendario electoral del próximo año, el cual será definido por los nuevos vocales del Tribunal Supremo Electoral (TSE), por lo que aseguró que los mandatos de las autoridades electorales no se extenderán después de la transición de Gobierno.
