La Paz, 02 de noviembre (RC). – El Presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Sergio Choque, informó a los medios de comunicación que el partido Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS) contará como presidente de campaña al exmandatario, Evo Morales Ayma, si el gobierno le permite su retorno, además supervisará y coordinará con el Congreso Nacional del MAS para elegir a los nuevos candidatos a la presidencia, vicepresidencia, senadores y diputados.
Sergio Choque señaló que los candidatos para presidencia, vicepresidencia, senadores y diputados por el MAS serán definidos en un congreso nacional en el que se evaluará el perfil de los candidatos para constatar si cumplen con el perfil que requiere el partido político, “se necesita gente que garantice la estabilidad económica del país”, añadió.
El presidente de la Cámara de diputados comunicó que como posibles candidatos (según se observa en las redes sociales) son: Adrónico Rodríguez, el ex ministro de Economía y Finanzas públicas, Luis Alberto Arce Catacora, entre otros, pero se descarta la candidatura de Morales a cualquier cargo ya que “Evo pidió no participar en ninguna candidatura con el fin de apaciguar el país”, mencionó Choque.
A su vez señaló que todo lo conversado y acordado en el Congreso Nacional del MAS será de conocimiento de Evo Morales, para que haga la respectiva observación como presidente del partido político.
