La Paz, 22 de noviembre (RC). – El empresario Elon Musk ha presentado este viernes en Los Ángeles la camioneta eléctrica “Tesla Cybertruck”, un vehículo con estética poligonal que fue creado con los mismos metales que se usaron en la construcción de los cohetes de su empresa SpaceX, por lo que el vehículo será a prueba de balas.
Del mismo modo, el empresario destacó que la aleación de su vehículo fue denominada como “Exoskeleton” y permite que el vehículo pueda soporte golpes y abolladuras, además de evitar la corrosión, sin embargo, destacó que dicha camioneta sólo resistirá los disparos de pequeñas armas de fuego como las pistolas 9 mm que son vendidas para uso personal en ciertas partes del mundo.
Así mismo, el empresario manifestó que dichas camionetas podrán ser adquiridas desde finales de 2021 en Estados Unidos y señaló que el vehículo se venderá en tres versiones según la cantidad de motores que necesite el comprador. La versión básica del vehículo costará $us 39.900 y contará con un motor, el modelo de dos motores costará $us 49.900 y la camioneta de tres motores tendrá un costo de $us 69.900.
Por otro lado, Musk resaltó que el Cybertruck podrá recorrer hasta 805 kilómetros por cada recarga eléctrica y destacó que tendrá una velocidad máxima de 210 kilómetros por hora en su modelo de tres motores.
