La Paz, 21 de noviembre (RC). – El senador del MAS, Efrain Chambi, el senador y jefe de bancada de UD, Homer Menacho y la jefa de bancada de PDC, Rosario Rodriguez, se comprometieron a llegar a un consenso para llamar inmediatamente a nuevas elecciones generales.
“Coordinación con las tres bancadas para poder tener un proyecto de ley excepcional, transitoria de realización de las nuevas elecciones nacionales y subnacionales. En ese entendido queremos dar la certeza al pueblo boliviano de garantizar nuestro deber y obligación con el pueblo boliviano conforme ha demandado nuevas elecciones para la nueva gestión de un nuevo Gobierno”, indicó Chambi.
Así mismo, el representante de UD manifestó que mediante dicha coordinación se espera pacificar el país y responder al pedido de tener nuevas elecciones generales, sin embargo, resaltó que por el momento no pueden determinar una fecha específica debido a la naturaleza de los procedimientos que se realizarán para consolidar dicha convocatoria.
Por su parte, la jefa de PDC aseguró que se está trabajando de manera conjunta para desarrollar la convocatoria y destacó que hay dos proyectos de ley para llamar a elecciones, uno que fue enviado por la presidenta Jeanine Añez y el otro fue enviado por la bancada del MAS, por lo que se pretende que en base a los mismos se pueda desarrollar un documento final.
