La Paz, 15 de noviembre (RC). – El expresidente Evo Morales manifestó durante una entrevista con el medio de prensa mexicano El Universal que intentó detener la publicación del informe preliminar de la auditoría que realizó la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA) sobre las elecciones generales del 20 de octubre, donde se concluyó que hubo elementos de un fraude electoral.
“La OEA es, en parte, responsable de los muertos que está habiendo en Bolivia. Yo se lo dije a su representante: No haga eso, con eso va a incendiar Bolivia, y le advertí que quería que lo supiera Luis Almagro. Yo le dije: contácteme con Luis Almagro; no quiso, solo dijo: Voy a consultar, no consultó nada y después sacó su informe”, indicó Morales.
Del mismo modo, el exmandatario explicó que previamente recibió la llamada de un representante de la OEA, quien le indicó que los resultados preliminares estaban listos e indicaban que existía un fraude electoral, por lo que consideró que dicho documento fue una de las causas que provocó un supuesto golpe de Estado contra su Gobierno.
Por otro lado, Morales aseguró que nunca pediría a su partido que haga fraude electoral y resaltó que tiene valores que fue criado con valores éticos. Así mismo, el expresidente manifestó que no se arrepiente de postularse para obtener un cuarto mandato y destacó que esperaba gobernar hasta el año 2025.
