La Paz, 21 de octubre (RCM).- Una explosión por la fuga de gas licuado en el instituto de gastronomía Nueva Bolivia, en Villa Bolívar de El Alto, dejó cuatro heridos graves y cinco con lesiones leves, a causa del vidrio por el estallido de ventanas.
“De acuerdo con las investigaciones preliminares y a una indagación del personal de Bomberos se produjo una fuga en una garrafa, se concentró el combustible en el ambiente y probablemente una chispa al momento de encender una cocina fue el detonante para que se produzca la explosión”, informó el jefe de la UPI de El Alto, coronel Carlos Pardo.
La explosión fue provocada por una fuga de gas en la cocina mientras los estudiantes asistían a clases. Los heridos fueron trasladados al Hospital Boliviano-Holandés, y la Policía junto a su personal de explosivos se apersonaron al lugar para investigar el incidente.
