La Paz, 20 de septiembre (RCM).- La alcaldesa de El Alto, Eva Copa, advirtió este viernes a Evo Morales que su marcha no pasará por la ciudad «para convulsionar y matar a los alteños”.
«Los alteños jamás hemos retrocedido y, cuando vemos injusticias, nos paramos de frente. Hoy nos toca pararnos para defendernos. Nadie va a pasar por El Alto para convulsionar, nadie pasa por El Alto para matar a los alteños», expresó Copa en la inauguración de una obra con la presencia del presidente Luis Arce.
Morales comenzó el 17 de septiembre una marcha desde Caracollo, Oruro, hacia La Paz, exigiendo que el Tribunal Supremo Electoral reconozca su congreso de Lauca Ñ y también amenazó con bloquear caminos a nivel nacional hasta lograr sus demandas.
Copa rechazó la afirmación de Morales de que la marcha es para «salvar Bolivia», argumentando que su verdadero objetivo es beneficiar su propia candidatura.
«¿Acaso traerán dólares, combustible o paz para Bolivia? ¿Realmente creen que será así, hermanos y hermanas de El Alto?», cuestionó, instando a la población a mantenerse «alerta» ante la llegada de la movilización.
