La Paz, 5 de junio (RCM).- La Intendencia Municipal de Potosí evidenció que alimentos como el azúcar, aceite, arroz y el huevo destinado a la ciudad de Potosí están siendo desviados hacia el mercado argentino a través de Villazón.
El responsable de la inocuidad Alimentaria de la Intendencia Municipal de Potosí, Gustavo León, afirmó que se realizó una minuciosa investigación para determinar cuáles eran las causas para que productos como el azúcar, aceite, arroz y huevo tenga un precio mayor pese a que el mismo se mantenía en origen.
Los comerciantes locales informaron que hay desabastecimiento del mercado local porque existiría un desvío de productos hacia Argentina. Sin embargo, lo que llega a la Villa Imperial estaría siendo ocultado por los vendedores quienes intentan lograr un mayor beneficio a consecuencia de una menor oferta de esos productos.
La Intendencia Municipal anunció que se allanará los almacenes de los comerciantes mayoristas para que se garantice la venta en el precio justo.
