La Paz, 28 de mayo (RCM).- El ministro de Gobierno, Eduardo Del Castillo, hizo referencia a la estrategia política que utiliza el expresidente Evo Morales para controlar el Trópico de Cochabamba mediante la producción de ‘catos de coca’ y el costo reducido para su venta.
“Evo ahora tiene secuestrado al trópico de Cochabamba; él está asfixiando económicamente la región del trópico de Cochabamba; él, a través de unas instituciones del Estado, genera multas y pagos para los productores de coca; él está logrando que el precio de las hojas de coca esté por los suelos en la región del trópico» comentó la autoridad a El Deber.
El ministro de Gobierno también afirmó que el expresidente y líder de las Seis Federaciones del trópico de Cochabamba, no permite que se erradiquen los ‘catos rojos’ y los ‘catos blancos’. “Se trata de aquellos catos, cuya producción va destinada al narcotráfico.
Explicó que los ‘catos rojos’ son los que se encuentran junto a los laboratorios de producción de cocaína, mientras que los ‘catos blancos’ están fuera del registro de las autoridades.
