La Paz, 11 de diciembre (RCM).- La familia de un hombre hospitalizado en un centro médico de Santa Cruz denuncia falta de atención, tras aseverar que el paciente tiene hongo negro. No obstante, el Servicio Departamental de Salud (Sedes) aseveran que las pruebas de laboratorio dieron resultados negativos, por lo que descartan que el sujeto pueda estar infectado.
“Estamos a la espera de una cirugía, nos tienen a vueltas. Llamo al Sedes y tampoco hay respuesta. El viernes me dijeron que los resultados señalaban que la secreción está avanzando al cerebro”, explicó un familiar del paciente, quien observó que el paciente no está aislado pese a su cuadro médico.
Por su parte, el Sedes de Santa Cruz explicó que las pruebas de laboratorio dieron negativo a hongo negro, por lo que afirmaron que su enfermedad no es contagiosa y que continúa recibiendo la correspondiente ayuda médica. Actualmente, el paciente está compartiendo una sala de internación con un adulto mayor.
