La Paz, 22 de noviembre (RCM).- La Policía ha rescatado a un menor de edad que se encontraba encadenado de los tobillos en la región de San José de Chiquitos, Santa Cruz. Las investigaciones indican que el responsable es su padrastro, quien también lo agredía físicamente.
El hecho fue dado a conocer por los vecinos del lugar, quienes, tras ver al menor descalzo, encadenado y llorando cuestionaron a la madre sobre el hecho, la mujer afirmó que su pareja fue quien decidió encadenar al menor. El hecho fue denunciado ante la Policía, por lo que efectivos trasladaron al menor a un centro médico para brindarle atención por las heridas que sufría.
De la misma forma, la vocera de la Asociación de Mujeres Defensoras, Irma Durán, informó que la mujer era amenazada por el agresor. El sujeto tiene antecedentes y estaba recluido por los delitos de violación, pero se desconoce los motivos por los que pudo salir de su encierro, no obstante, ahora está siendo buscado por la Policía.
