El Servicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología (Senamhi) emitió un aviso de alerta naranja por riesgo de desborde de ríos en 6 departamentos abarcando Santa Cruz, Tarija, Potosí, Chuquisaca, Cochabamba y La Paz. La alerta estará vigente del 22 al 27 de noviembre, el comunicado advierte sobre posibles desbordes en las cuencas de varios ríos, incluyendo el Salinas, Tupiza, Tumusla, Alto Pilcomayo, Parapetí, Ichilo, Rocha, Mizque, Yapacaní, Piraí, Grande y Beni.
Entre las poblaciones en riesgo se encuentran Yapacaní, San Juan de Yapacaní, Mairana, Trigal, La Angostura, Cuatro Ojos, Cabezas, Abapó, Cuatro Cañadas, Okinawa y otras cercanas. En Cochabamba, Puerto Villarroel, Puerto Grethel, Entre Ríos, Bulo Bulo y comunidades vecinas, Ivirgarzama, Chimoré y comunidades cercanas, y Villa Tunari están señalados como áreas con riesgo.
El departamento de La Paz tiene poblaciones en peligro como: La Asunta, Zongo, Cahua, Apana, Fariñas y comunidades cercanas. Se insta a tomar precauciones, especialmente aquellos que están cerca de los ríos mencionados.
