La Paz, 29 de septiembre (RCM).- El presidente ejecutivo de la Corporación Minera de Bolivia (COMIBOL), Ing. Reynaldo Pardo Fernández junto al ministro de Minería y Metalurgia, Marcelino Quispe López, han entregado tres volquetas nuevas y un carro cisterna para fortalecer el trabajo de la preservación física del Cerro Rico de Potosí.
Durante el acto de entrega, el presidente de COMIBOL afirmó que la estatal minera es respetuosa de los operadores mineros, pero más respetuosa del pueblo potosino. Además, Pardo Fernández destacó que su institución está comprometida con la preservación morfológica del Cerro Rico
Asimismo, la autoridad detalló que, mediante fondos y créditos propios, la Corporación realiza la entrega de estos tres vehículos nuevos, además de un carro cisterna refaccionado para continuar con el relleno con material seco en los hundimientos identificados en la cúspide.
