La Paz, 27 de julio (RCM).- El líder del MAS, Evo Morales, afirmó que el congreso nacional de su partido fue convocado “legal y legítimamente” para que sea realizado en el trópico de Cochabamba, en respuesta al pedido de sus sectores de que dicho encuentro sea realizado en El Alto.
“Compartimos la decisión de nuestras hermanas y hermanos militantes del MAS-IPSP en consolidar la unidad del instrumento político del pueblo en el congreso ordinario convocado legal y legítimamente para el 3, 4 y 5 de octubre en Lauca Ñ de acuerdo con nuestro estatuto orgánico aprobado por el TSE (Tribunal Supremo Electoral)”, manifestó el exmandatario mediante sus redes sociales.
Asimismo, el exmandatario rechazó las propuestas de cambiar la sede del congreso y espera que los militantes del MAS apoyen su decisión. “La militancia activa del MAS-IPSP respeta y acata lo que dice el estatuto aprobado democráticamente en cumplimiento de la Constitución y las leyes porque garantiza la unidad orgánica del trabajo político en beneficio de nuestra patria”, agregó.
