La Paz, 25 de julio (RCM).- La ministra de Salud, María Renée Castro, informó que 250 profesionales recibieron su certificado tras la conclusión del “Diplomado en Gestión y Gerencia del PAI”, por lo que consideró que dicho sector se volvieron “soldados de la vacunación”.
“Ustedes que han vivido este diplomado, ustedes que han pasado por todos estos módulos, qué han estado en las aulas con nuestros docentes de la Universidad Mayor de San Andrés sabrán que el hecho que llegue una vacuna no es suficiente (…) vamos a necesitarlos, hoy ustedes son y se convierten en los soldados de la vacunación”, destacó Castro.
Dicho diplomado fue logrado tras una coordinación entre el Ministerio de Salud, la Organización Panamericana de la Salud – Organización Mundial de la Salud (OPS/OMS), el Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia (UNICEF), el Gobierno del Japón y la Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA). La ministra de Salud agradeció el apoyo de dichas instituciones y destacó que en el diplomado se tocó el tema de la gestión y gerencia del PAI nacional y la manera de trabajar con las 120 coordinaciones de red, entre otros temas.
