La Paz, 1 de febrero (RCM).- La Policía Boliviana confirmó la recaptura del peligroso reo brasilero André Luis Xavier da Rocha, de 39 años, cuya identidad real es Felipe Edvaldo Menezes, quien escapó el pasado martes tras disparar a dos policías y resaltó que también se detuvo a otras cinco personas vinculadas a la fuga del antisocial.
“Ese compromiso de servicio al pueblo nos ha permitido que logremos la captura, a las 10.52, del sujeto que intento burlarse del pueblo boliviano, por tanto, queremos informar a todo el pueblo boliviano y a la comunidad internacional que el señor Felipe Meneses Iglesias ha sido recapturado por la Policía”, manifestó el ministro de Gobierno, Eduardo Del Castillo.
Del mismo modo, la autoridad del Gobierno detalló que se aprehendió a otros tres sujetos de nacionalidad brasilera, un boliviano que permitió que los secuaces del sujeto vivan en su casa y la médica que emitió un informe que permitió el traslado del sujeto al Hospital de Clínicas, pese a que anteriormente había intentado escapar de Chonchocoro. Además, Del Castillo destacó que uno de los policías que sobrevivió tras ser disparado por el sujeto se encuentra con salud estable.
