La presidente transitoria del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, Jeanine Añez informó que se presentará al representante del Tribunal Supremo Electoral (TSE) para llevar los comicios generales en la brevedad posible, además que se garantizará total transparencia.
Añez señaló que las elecciones serán dirigidas por personalidades meritorias, quienes garantizarán elecciones transparentes, para que no exista susceptibilidad de ningún fraude en las nuevas elecciones generales. El TSE definirá el calendario electoral junto al Tribunal Constitucional.
La Ministra de Culturas Martha Yujra aseveró que las nuevas elecciones serán limpias y transparentes. Al mismo tiempo Añez indicó que las investigaciones por los actos de sedición continuarán.
Por otro lado, la presidenta mencionó que el proceso contra el ex mandatario Evo Morales se llevaran a cabo por los actos de sedición que sufrió el país, tomando en cuenta el vídeo publicado sobre la llamada de Morales dando instrucciones sobre cómo cercar la ciudad de La Paz. Además, recalcó que la Ley de Pacificación no dará impunidad a nadie.
