La Paz, 10 de septiembre (RC). – El fiscal Javier Flores informó que en el consulado de Argentina el exministro del Ministerio de Obras Públicas en el gobierno de Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada, Carlos Morales Landívar, afirmó ser inocente y no recordar tales depósitos respecto a las irregularidades en la construcción de las carreteras Santa Cruz-Puerto Suarez que fue adjudicada en los años 2002-2003.
El fiscal Flores señaló que las investigaciones en el caso revelan que Morales depositó la suma de $us. 50.000 a Leticia Bruno y Raquel Britchi, y consideró que está acción podría ser un presunto soborno para adjudicar la construcción de la carretera.
Así también, Flores sostuvo que el Ministerio Público consideró las irregularidades en la construcción de la carretera como delitos públicos que afectan al patrimonio del estado, por tal están realizando las pericias de investigación para establecer resultados más certeros.
